Day after Monday....

Second day of the week.. The day started out great... showers without shouts... breakfast without fits... beds made, teeth brushed without asking!

Little Guy, rolled over this AM and didn't ask "what was for breakfast", didn't ask "Do I have to take a shower", didn't even ask what the weather was like... What he did ask was did Mom finish my Project Box... cause it is due today. He was impressed with Mom's use of a glue gun... Jesus won't have to worry about slipping or for that matter walking any further... he is stuck down real good. The Buds in the boat were free floating until Mom realizes that they would never make it to school. In true gunslinger fashion, Martha whipped out the glue gun and stuck the boys in the boat to the back of the box. Nobody is going anywhere... The little miracles in support of the big Miracle!

All chores completed, breakfast table cleared and lunches made ( this time with less snacks, it happens when Dad makes the lunches) Kids out the door without any issues. We do need bottle water and a bunch of other things in the fridge... Shopping has not occurred... the sweat-shop owner won't let the seamstress leave her table... and I am far too busy typing and talking, you know doing a real job... ( Yes I ducked and she missed).... to be running to the store.... But, I am sure I will be handed a list tonight to go pick up a few things...

The hum of the sewing machine was not as frequent this morning. Not sure what was going on upstairs... Almost afraid to venture from the office as I might be accused of slacking... or worse asked if I like this fabric, color or texture... I really don't care about the look and feel but I am impressed with the outcome... Toots should be selling this stuff... Wait until you see the pictures... I have submitted a request for clearance to that should allow me to approach inside the velvet ropes to take some non-flash photos (Can't have that flash fading the fabric). Hope to have clearance to take the pictures by the time Dot graduates....

OK... Got a pass on homework today... No they had Homework... But I wasn't there to help them ... I was food shopping... yes, I did prophesied this early today ( I write the content through out the day)... I was sent to gather the requirements to feed the family, while Toots sewed and managed her facebook "wall"... Can always tell when she is managing her facebook. No one is allowed in her office... Until she has checked to see what wonderful pictures has been posted by friends showing Toots in her glory from the 1980's.....

Since I did the shopping, it was my delegated privilege to cook what I hunted and gathered. The Clan was happy with the feast and all had a hand in cleaning.

I realized tonight that our table for four is quickly becoming obsolete. While it made me smile, it also had me thinking how many other things will be replaced as we go from 4 to 5 and what in the world will we do with all the old 4 stuff. Basement...? Cause someday one of them might move out.... Two things come to mind... Dinners out will now mean we have to wait for the big table to open up and I can't drive a little car anymore cause 5 won't fit... ( I know Toots, nobody rides in my car now, it's too dirty....)

Kiddos showered or at least washed their face, PJs on, teeth brushed.... all clothes folded, stuff animals moved from the holding area downstairs to their individual post to watch over the little guy as he sleeps. He faded off to sleep mid-way through our book "Henry Huggins and Ribs". The Big Sis and I continue the tradition of reading but it is mixed or delayed by having to watch American Idol... We are reading very slowly "Tom Sawyer". Looking forward to adding a third kiddo to my reading chores... I think we have some princess type books in the basement alongside little guy's first pair of shorts that he wore on a Saturday... Why cause you never know when you might need them... And I'll be dammed, she was right... but ain't she always...

Kids asleep, the seamstress has retired to the bedroom, I have my final instructions for the night... I need to clean something and put something else away... after I finish making sure all the computers in the house are protected from the latest virus...

It is April 1st tomorrow besides from being one day closer, can we say 47 days!!! It is also my day to "fool" the kiddos when they awake... I'll think of something that I am sure will get Toots po'd and have the kids saying Daaaaaaaaaaad.... Than spend the rest of the morning hearing the kiddos try to "fool" us... and Toots saying enough... enough...

Survived another, tomorrow is more of the same, with a different slant... wish me luck and keep those letter s and cards coming in...
