Welcome back now......!!!!

OK... Getting lots of heat and grief about not keeping up on the Blog... Reality is after my 50th post.. I think I hit a mid-blog crisis... Started wondering what I was going to do with the blog beyond 50 and did more thinking than typing... This is really the first time I have touched the keyboard as it relates to the blog since 6/10... Big Sis has offered to it pick up and share her thoughts, Little Guy has asked to post his videos.. (More on that later)... Others have just asked... what happen... So as I come to grips with with the Mid-Blog crisis, I will continue to type and share my thoughts and the events around the family.

When we last left off.. our hero was starting a challenge... dam good thing I gave myself 9 months.. cause I started off with a bang and have seen my daily routine get impacted by weather, work and what ever else life tosses my way. I have not stepped back on the scale and I won't until I resume the routine..... Not that I have been sitting around doing nothing... Between work and life, I have been refinishing one of the rooms in the basement... doing it mostly on my own, while frustrating it is also rewarding... a few more days of hanging sheetrock and I will get back to an exercise program... hell I might even join a gym...

So what of the life around the Clan... Dot in the last month has gone from this little tiny thing to a mini person.. she is smiling, laughing and definitely recognizing faces and voices. Big Sis started her summer BBAll league and is doing well... Little Guy has stepped up his bicycle inventory to include a new trick bike.... Remember when you got a new bike or even sneakers.. how it always felt like you could run or go faster... That is what I am dealing with now.. Toots is taking care of the house... No sewing or such but I did carry in a box of fabric yesterday...

We are getting ready for Dot's baptism, big day.. big party... everyone is coming in and we should have a full house. After that it is all about enjoying the summer... sitting on the beach and relaxing..
So the tradition has been to mention time or the passing of it... In the month since we last at down, Dot has gained some weight not a lot.. thank goodness cause that was also part of the challenge... She has grown some hair... and brighten our lives... age and time don't always go hand in hand.. sometime we age far quicker than the clock and other times we are much younger than the calendar tells us... I am still waiting.. for my mind to catch up to my body... big difference from growing up and growing old...

Check back... I think I have the bug again... and lord knows what I will be writing about.. but I will..
