I exaggerated a little last night in my post... Blame it on me being tired or the fact that I was looked at with Daggers this morning... Toots was not pleased with what I wrote.. So I will go on record and say... Sorry...
Another great weather day which meant the kiddos were out and about all day. It felt like after breakfast they were gone, doing this or that... saw them at dinner... We spent a few hours down the street at a neighbor's house.. Big Sis was the big sis to about 10 little kids...each one vying for her attention. She is going to be in high demand when she starts babysitting... Toots had her feet up and looked relaxed... Little Guy was in his glory...
On the Command Center board in big red letters circled... is the number 30... and the words days until Dot comes.. This notice was placed there by Little guy ( Guess the counter really did impress him), a few days ago. That big Red 30 is more impactful than the counter, ticking away... Because of who put it their... Little Guy has gone from concerned, hurt, fearful...to happy and excited about having a little sis... His daily actions are a little blog in themselves... Big Sis is just glowing... she really can't wait for the day...
AS we turn the corner into the last month, I am sure the excitement and anticipation of Dot will flow across these pages. I am sure that I will touch on the kiddos, hormones, nesting and the next wave of baby items that will find their way to house. I am sure I will praise Toots for what she is going through and how well she looks and I will joke about the ankles and mood swings.
I want to make sure 30 days out that my family knows, I appreciate what they are doing, going through and how well they have adapted to the changes already. That as the pace quickens if something is missed or over looked it is not Dots fault, it because someones mind is elsewhere. Most important, over these next 30 days and long beyond that everyone remembers and knows they are equally loved, cherished and considered a blessing in my life... 4 becoming five just means there is even more to give, that what I have today to give is not divided into lesser parts; instead it will just grow with even more to give and share...
OK... the smoke from the fire pit must have gotten in my eyes...
on a different front, looking at the other counter, we hit1245 visits tonight... status breakouts to about 75% returning and 25% new... Spread the word... Actually had a few hits from over seas...
Tomorrow is baseball and stuff..... So I am heading up for the night... Thanks for stopping and keep those letters and cards coming in...
Good Night!
